Financial literacy for children is just as crucial as for adults. If a child can be educated on the proper way to manage finances for their entire life, this can go a long way to secure the future of the child. Teaching the kids to be financially literate helps them understand how to manage money as they grow.
At this young age, children are like little sponges, learning and soaking in everything. This means they catch more than you think! This is a great time to introduce key financial concepts that they can carry throughout their lives.
In our activity, we asked our students "If you had 100 Turkish Liras, what would you like to buy with it? They came up with different ideas. Some of them wanted to buy books, fruits or toys while others preferred to use this money for donation.
